These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Query Studio Pro application and the solutionmisfits.com website (collectively, the “Services”) provided by Solution Misfits LLC (“Solution Misfits,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By installing, accessing, or using Query Studio Pro, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms. If you are using the Services on behalf of an organization, you represent that you have the authority to bind that organization to these Terms.
2. Description of Services
Query Studio Pro is a Salesforce AppExchange application that provides an enhanced SQL query development environment for Salesforce Marketing Cloud (SFMC). Features include smart autocomplete, real-time linting, Data View and Data Extension browsing, AI-assisted query development, and query execution — all within the Salesforce platform.
3. Eligibility
To use Query Studio Pro, you must:
- Have a valid Salesforce Marketing Cloud account with appropriate permissions
- Be at least 16 years of age
- Have the authority to agree to these Terms on behalf of yourself or your organization
4. Account and Access
Query Studio Pro authenticates users through Salesforce Marketing Cloud OAuth. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your Salesforce credentials and for all activity that occurs through your authenticated session. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account.
5. Subscription and Payment
Query Studio Pro is offered under subscription tiers as listed on our AppExchange listing. Subscription fees, billing cycles, and payment terms are managed through the Salesforce AppExchange. By subscribing, you agree to pay the applicable fees for your selected tier. We reserve the right to modify pricing with reasonable advance notice.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree to use the Services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You agree not to:
- Use the Services to violate any applicable law or regulation
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems, other users’ data, or Salesforce environments beyond your authorized scope
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble any part of the application
- Use the Services to transmit malicious code, execute harmful queries, or interfere with the operation of the application
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the Services without our written permission
- Use automated systems to scrape, crawl, or extract data from the application
7. Intellectual Property
All intellectual property rights in Query Studio Pro, including but not limited to the application code, user interface, documentation, and branding, are owned by Solution Misfits LLC. Your subscription grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the application for its intended purpose during your active subscription.
Content you create within the application — including saved queries, templates, and snippets — remains your property. By using collaborative features (such as publishing templates to shared libraries), you grant Solution Misfits a non-exclusive license to display and distribute that content to other authorized users within the application.
8. Data Handling
Our collection and use of data is described in our Privacy Policy. By using the Services, you acknowledge and agree to our data practices as described therein.
Query Studio Pro processes queries within your Salesforce Marketing Cloud environment. You are responsible for the content of your queries and for ensuring your use of the application complies with your organization’s data governance policies.
9. Availability and Support
We strive to maintain high availability of the Services but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may perform scheduled maintenance with reasonable advance notice when possible.

10. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY APPLICABLE LAW, SOLUTION MISFITS LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO LOSS OF DATA, REVENUE, OR BUSINESS OPPORTUNITY, ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE SERVICES.
Our total liability for any claim arising from or related to the Services shall not exceed the amount you paid to us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Query Studio Pro executes SQL queries against your SFMC environment as directed by you. Solution Misfits is not responsible for the effects of queries you execute, including data modifications, deletions, or performance impacts on your Salesforce environment.
11. Disclaimer of Warranties
THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.
We do not warrant that the Services will meet your specific requirements, operate without interruption, or be free of errors or vulnerabilities.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Solution Misfits LLC, its officers, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from your use of the Services, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any third-party rights.
13. Termination
Either party may terminate the subscription in accordance with the terms of the AppExchange listing. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services immediately if you violate these Terms or if your use poses a security risk to other users or our systems.
Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately. We will retain your data for up to 90 days following termination, after which it will be permanently deleted unless otherwise required by law.
14. Modifications to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the revised Terms on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Continued use of the Services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of North Carolina, without regard to its conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or the Services shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Surry County, North Carolina.
16. Severability
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
